Infection Control

At M&G Dental, we take infection control very seriously. Preventing disease is not only good for our patients but for our staff, as well. We use the highest level of sterilization and disinfection possible and we adhere strictly to the guidelines and policies of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE).

What to Expect

At our facility, we prevent infection by adhering to a strict protocol. When you come in for a visit, you may notice the following:

  • All of our staff members wash their hands frequently using an antibacterial hand soap to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  • Our dentists and dental assistants wear gloves and face masks for your protection as well as theirs. These gloves are disposed of after use.
  • We completely disinfect and sterilize all equipment and surfaces between patients so there is no cross-contamination.
  • We use disposable materials whenever possible and dispose of contaminated articles safely and responsibly.

We’re proud to be transparent about our safety procedures and protocol because we believe that the more informed you are, the more comfortable you’ll feel in our office.

Your safety is our top priority. If you have any questions or concerns about infection control at our facility, please feel free to give our office a call. Our staff would be happy to answer your questions and walk you through our infection control process.
